In Your Space LLC is dedicated to providing specialized home safety and accessibility consulting for seniors, caregivers, and families. Our mission is to empower individuals to age in place safely by offering tailored solutions that enhance home environments, promote independence, and ensure peace of mind. We focus on delivering personalized plans and guidance for home renovations, equipment, and fall prevention to support our clients' safety and well-being.
Services
What We Offer
Home modification assessment and guidance
As a CAPS certified OT, I will complete assessment to help identify potential hazards, limitations, and areas to promote independence. We will walk through all the spaces you are concerned with and evaluate lighting, flooring, stairways, bathrooms, layouts, accessibility. Then I will provide clear practical solutions/recommendations to reduce risks and improve daily life. I will provide detailed write up as guidance for contractors or others, and add proritization of these recommendations.
In-Home Assessment
I will complete an occupational therapy assessment with tailored to each individual and their needs in your space. Focusing on safety, independence, and comfort, we will assess current abilities, daily activities, and home environment. I will provide recommendations, education, guidance to improve overall function in the home. I can provide write up as needed for documentation. We will make a plan for care to help ensure that you are making progress toward your goals and remaining safe and independent as possible at home.
Follow-up appointments
Follow up visits provide ongoing support to ensure that you are meeting the goals that we have discussed in assessments- whether that is home modifications, safety, or independence. we will review progress, address any new concerns, complete training/exercises/education to promote independence and safety.
